Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

The short version

Drop collects no data, shows no ads and does not track you. Everything it saves stays on your device. The only services it uses are Apple's own: Game Center, if you choose to use it, and In-App Purchase, if you choose to leave a tip.

What stays on your device

Drop saves these things on your device, using iOS's standard app storage:

None of this leaves your device, except your best Play score if you use Game Center. There is no iCloud sync, so this data lives only on the device where you play.

Motion

You steer by tilting your device, so Drop reads the accelerometer while you play. Motion data is used in the moment to move the ball. It is never stored and never leaves your device.

Game Center

Drop uses Apple's Game Center for an optional High Score leaderboard. If you are signed in to Game Center, your best Play score is sent to that leaderboard, and Apple handles your Game Center identity. If you are not signed in, Drop works the same and keeps your scores on your device.

Game Center is Apple's service, so Apple's Privacy Policy covers how it handles your player identity.

Tips

Optional tips in Settings › Support Development are In-App Purchases handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Drop never sees your payment details or your Apple Account.

Links

Rate Drop and the links to my other games open the App Store. Drop itself makes no network requests.

Analytics and tracking

None. Drop has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It uses no third-party code or services.

Children

Drop is rated 4+. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Deleting Drop removes everything it saved from your device. You can remove your leaderboard entry in your device's Game Center settings, or by contacting Apple.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
