Privacy policy for Vamos!
Last updated: October 12, 2026
The short version
Vamos! is a free football game with no ads, no purchases, no accounts and no tracking. Your settings, match history and career ratings stay on your iPhone. Playing a friend uses Apple's Game Center. The app sends anonymous usage data to help improve the game, and you can turn that off in Settings.
What's stored on your iPhone
Vamos! saves the following on your device using iOS's standard storage:
- Your settings: player name, control side, sound, haptics, drums, camera, difficulty, match length, format, chosen clubs and whether to share usage data.
- Up to 50 finished matches: date, clubs, score and match statistics.
- One unfinished match, so you can resume it.
- Your career ratings for 7-a-side and 11-a-side.
- Whether you have seen the controls guide, and the league you last browsed.
These records are not uploaded and are not synced with iCloud.
Game Center
Play a friend uses Apple's Game Center to invite players and connect the match. Game Center is optional; everything else works without it.
During an online match, the two iPhones exchange your Game Center display name and player identifier, the chosen clubs and match settings, your career rating if you choose to share it, and the controls and match updates needed to play. This goes between the two players through Apple's Game Center service, not to a server run by the developer.
Apple's handling of your Game Center identity is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Anonymous usage analytics
Vamos! uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to learn how the game is played. You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy › Share usage data; nothing more is sent after that.
What is sent:
- When the app opens, and when a match starts, finishes or is left early.
- Match settings and choices: difficulty, length, format, clubs, formation, camera, control side and sound settings.
- Match summaries: result, goals, shots, passes, possession, tackles, how often each control was used, and how long you played.
- Which settings you change, substitutions and tactics changes, thumbs up or down on a match with an optional reason, and whether you opened Play a friend.
- App version, iPhone model, iOS version and language.
Each signal carries a random identifier that is hashed before it is sent. It is not your name, Apple Account, Game Center identity or advertising identifier. Nothing is linked to your identity, and nothing is used for tracking or advertising. Your player name, location and contacts are never sent.
The app includes the TelemetryDeck software library for this. It includes no advertising or crash-reporting libraries.
Children's privacy
Vamos! is a general-audience game. It has no ads, no purchases and no account, and it does not collect personal information from anyone.
Deleting your data
Deleting Vamos! removes its settings, match history, saved match and ratings from your iPhone. Usage data already sent is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you, so it cannot be looked up or deleted for a particular person.
Apple manages Game Center records separately. Use Apple's controls or contact Apple for help with those.
